When is my UAE corporate tax return due?
What corporate tax rate will I pay?
Do I still have to file if my business made no profit or is below the threshold?
Yes. Once you hold a corporate tax registration, the law requires you to file one tax return for each tax period — even where no tax is due. Skipping a return triggers penalties regardless of your profit.
What is Small Business Relief and do I qualify?
If your revenue is AED 3 million or less, you can elect for Small Business Relief and be treated as having no taxable income for that period. This relief is available until December 2026 and does not require audited financial statements — though you must still keep proper records.
What happens if I file or pay late?
Late filing attracts penalties starting at AED 500 per month for the first 12 months, increasing to AED 1,000 per month thereafter, while late payment now carries a penalty of 14% per annum. Filing on time — even a nil return — avoids this entirely.
